The AppNexus Solutions Consultant engages with clients to develop and deliver new or upgraded solutions that enable customers to be successful at running their businesses on AppNexus’s platform. They are the clients trusted advisor, utilising an intimate knowledge of the customer’s business objectives and a deep understanding of our technical environment to develop and tailor the most appropriate technical solution.
The Solutions Consultant manages implementation and consultation projects with customers to help them achieve their objectives and capitalize on vast new possibilities created by real-time bidding. They also collaborate with Commercial teams to identify additional product/service opportunities in a clients organization aligning our product to the clients business objectives.
This role is perfect for someone who has a entrepreneurial spirit, a quantitatively-oriented degree (of any variety), and who thrives in an analytical, technically-oriented, consultative role.
About the Job:
Become a product and domain expert and share the expertise with customers as their trusted advisors in navigating the world of programmatic advertising.
Deeply understand our customer's business to consult on how to best leverage the possibilities offered by the AppNexus platform.
Analyze campaign and publisher performance and offer recommendations or architect solution designs for improvement.
Work cross functionally with Product, Sales and Account Management to identify opportunities to increase business growth and adoption of the AppNexus platform.
Be excited and learn quickly to implement our latest product offering with customers, identifying product issues and provide feedback to Product Management.
Thoughtfully and carefully test new products and tactics - recommending and implementing them at scale as they are proven.
Tenaciously troubleshoot product issues and rally internal resources as needed to resolve customer issues.
Receive mentorship and help build out our services practice in Asia, including developing training material, customer facing assets, and internal resources.
Effectively communicate strategies, testing and outcomes, and new opportunities to internal and external stakeholders through strong "storytelling" and data driven analysis.

Ability to self-manage, juggle multiple priorities, and pay strong attention to details
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
Outstanding communication, presentation and organizational skills; process-oriented, yet entrepreneurial
Demonstrable passion for learning advertising technology solutions including, online media buying/selling, DSP and SSP business models and platforms
Demonstrable experience/ quantitative degree from a top-tier university
3-4 years of professional experience
Familiarity and knowledge of the programmatic landscape
Beneficial tech skills (if you don't have all of them, you can learn them at AppNexus!):
SQL scripting and relational databases
APIs, particularly RESTful is helpful
