Overall Purpose: Responsible for managing one or more technical organizations which may include technical applications and systems, operations, infrastructure and related activities, as well as technical programs and projects from initiation through delivery. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Provides leadership and sets strategy to support business processes. Oversees one or more small to large projects that may involve cross-functional teams. Works with client organizations and stakeholders to evaluate business process changes and plan the implementation of those changes. Works with other staff and members of leadership to design and develop business strategies necessary for the forward progress of technology and related organizational operations. Administrative responsibilities include development of subordinates, force budgeting and allocation, financial responsibilities such as budget preparation and tracking, and business case coordination with clients, the Capital and Expense Review Teams, and the Governance Counsel. Incumbents must demonstrate leadership ability in the area of collaboration and teamwork as defined in the ATT Extraordinary Leader Model. Note: This position targets 6 or more technical employee direct reports and a total org size of 50 or more. Education: Preferred MS degree in Information Technology or related field. Experience: Typically requires at least ten years experience and supervisory experience. Supervisory: Yes.
QualificationsSignificant experience in Cloud-based platform operations, including AWS (preferred), Azure, GCP or others.
Significant experience in application development support and automation, including CI/CD (Jenkins), Ansible, Terraform, CFT, Python or shell scripting.
Experience leading technically within a DevSecOps team.
