Responsible for managing and leading internal employee communications and the development and design of highly complex communications programs concerning the company.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Responsibilities include writing and overseeing publication of several or most of the following: articles, microsites, news releases, employee newsletters, brochures, employee handbooks, social media content, video scripting, and/or materials for employee conferences and seminars. Involved in corporate public/community relations programs. Provides counsel to senior managers or executives in the form of speech research and writing. Company spokesperson to media representatives. Responsible for providing communications and messaging for trade shows and other events. Works on complex problems of diverse scope requiring detailed analysis of unique factors. Requires thorough knowledge of company products, company functions and service policies and procedures. Creates and recommends changes to policies which affects organization. Interacts with customers, functional peer group managers and senior management. Interactions involve matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company. collaborate with business units, vendors, and/or internal information systems staff to assist in designing new or modify existing technology platforms to meet changing requirements.
QualificationsThis position is considered an expert within the communications discipline. Education: Typically Bachelors of Arts degree or Bachelors of Science degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience: Typically 5 - 8 years of experience in a related field.
