Learning & Development Manager

Xandr is looking for a Learning & Development Manager / Senior Manager who will play a key role in helping to build our learning culture at Xandr and bring our key principle of Teach and Learn to life. In this role, you will partner with the Senior Director T&D, BU Learning Specialists, Managers, HRBP’s, and Employees to identify Xandr-wide learning needs, set the strategy for L&D programs and execute the design and delivery as needed. The role will manage a close partnership with the AT&T University Learning Consultants, identifying relevant content that currently exists in AT&T University and identifying ways to engage the Xandr audience around this. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to both help craft a learning strategy as well as lead design, development and delivery of programs.

• Design, lead, and implement learning programs across the company that align with organizational strategic priorities using a holistic approach to learning & development; self-directed, experiential, classroom, virtual etc
• Bring the Xandr Teach & Learn principle to life by engaging employee’s and driving a learning culture across Xandr using innovative techniques
• Research what a good ‘Xandr Manager’ should demonstrate and lead the development and roll-out of a suite of training and development programs to help managers demonstrate strong skills in these areas, with clear training paths and supporting tools
• Learning Needs Analysis; identifying themes and learning focus area’s at the enterprise level and identifying solutions to meet identified needs
• Build and manage a close partnership with the AT&T University Learning Consultants to understand what content currently exists, needs to be personalized or needs to be created to meet the specific needs of the Xandr audience
• Lead familiarization, drive engagement and usage of the PLE, an AT&T University learning tool available to all Xandr employee’s
• Support Orientation program for new employee’s; input into content and how to evolve to ensure strong first impressions and appropriate learning is provided from day one
• Develop and build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that learning and development initiatives are appropriately promoted and align with both team and organization-wide needs
• Strong partnership with HRBP’s and other HR CoE’s to ensure visibility on work in flight, projects upcoming and cross-HR project alignment with L&D strategy
• Involvement in crafting Xandr high potential and top talent development programs to ensure retention and growth of key talent and strong talent bench strength
• Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of learning and development programs to create a culture of continuous development and understand our impact on bringing Teach & Learn to life
• Provide input and outcome data on learning impact in reports to management and partners
• Lead project plans and keep track of initiatives as needed


Experience & Skills
• Proven experience managing the full L&D lifecycle; from learning needs analysis to building strategy to design and delivery
• Experience engaging audiences to participate in learning in a variety of ways and crafting unique and innovative solutions to achieve this
• Experience using a high touch and consultative approach: excellent relationship management and communication and influencing skills; ability to communicate effectively and credibly, both verbally and in writing, with audiences at all management levels
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction; self-starter with a solution-oriented mindset; ability to build and implement solutions from scratch in a fast-paced, complex environment
• Passionate about learning – understand the importance and value of investing in and developing people and sharing that knowledge; bring strong L&D experience and expertise to the team
• Understanding of talent management initiatives preferred but not essential
• Experience with coaching and leadership development is a plus but not essential
• 7+ years of progressive experience in learning, training or related area
