Director Marketplace Development

The Advertising Sales Director, Marketplace Development is tasked with the buy-side monetization of the AppNexus SSP from both a deal migration (PMP’s) and an enterprise technology sale. This role will sit within the Xandr Media Agency Organization and work alongside the Holding Company leads to drive adoption of the SSP across all of our major agency partners. They will also work in conjunction with the Client Partnership team to ensure any in-house opportunities are serviced for brands directly.

Key roles and responsibilities:
• Work alongside Xandr Holding Company & Client Partnership organization to

position the SSP as a complement and key strategic pillar of the holistic Xandr

• Become the day to day contact and thought leader for Agencies, Trading

Desks and Marketers with a focus on education and ability to articulate the

changing and complex dynamics of programmatic to all levels of experience
• Generate revenue from migration of deals from competitive SSP’s and

recommend best supply path for buyers
• Lead GTM of enterprise supply-side technology across all marketplace product

• Connect buyers into supply opportunities by merchandising packages, deals

and specific O&O inventory
• Participate in regular quarterly business reviews with buyers
• Lead regular client and internal business reviews with strategic analysis,

insights and reporting regarding spend, technology requirements, and

competitive landscape.
• Act as a feedback loop to product, marketing and account management teams
• Requirement: Working expert-level knowledge of DSPs, Exchanges, DMP’s

and the overall ad tech ecosystem


Extensive experience with advertising platform and it's technology as well as the advertising industry.
