Associate Director, Business Development

Xandr is seeking a business development professional to form and grow partnerships in the advertising, data, and technology space.

The right candidate will manage the business development process from end-to-end, overseeing the discussion, diligence, contracting, and implementation of product and revenue strategies and tactics. They will have industry knowledge as well as extensive knowledge of all advertising initiatives across Xandr, WarnerMedia, and AT&T, integrating the needs of the business with the needs of the advertising market to drive growth. This position oversees activities to support the research and evaluation of new product, revenue, and business development initiatives, and analyzes and oversees the documentation and implementation of business development initiatives.


- Identify and close strategic partnerships that drive profitability and product needs
- Run business development process through extensive work with finance, legal, and corporate development
- Act as the primary interface and subject matter expert for business development operations and initiatives necessary to maintain key business goals
- Use effective time and project schedule management to consistently meet deadlines for strategic partnerships and any resulting technical implementation requirements
- Provide an analytical and thoughtful approach to decisions
- Strong collaboration across AT&T, Warner Media, and Xandr

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 6+ years’ experience in business development
- 3+ years’ experience in media and/or technology
- Proven track record of business and corporate development
- Experience negotiating intricate commercial relationships and acquisitions
- Strong attention to detail accompanied by proficient contracting/agreement skills
- Experience presenting to senior leadership
- Ability to form thoughtful and strategic decisions in the face of ambiguity, pressure, and risk
- Ability to succinctly and accurately summarize project status and associated revenue
- Project management and ability to define status and track progress, identifying requisite stakeholders for next steps
